What this recipe does

Designed to calm the spike-then-slump energy pattern.

Why it fits PCOS/PMOS goals

Slower glucose release is one of the most useful levers for insulin resistance, which sits underneath a lot of PCOS/PMOS symptoms.

Ingredients that matter most

rolled oats, chia seeds, oat milk or semi-skimmed dairy milk

How to log it fast

Log rolled oats first, then chia seeds if that was the part most likely to affect energy, cravings, or symptoms.

Ingredients

If you log this in Atlas later, start with the main ingredients below. The pattern engine cares more about the meal signal than a perfect kitchen diary.

  • 60g rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 240ml oat milk or semi-skimmed dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 80g mixed frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 1 tbsp mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, hemp)
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. 1

In a jar or container with a lid, combine the oats, chia seeds, milk, Greek yoghurt (if using), maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir well.

  2. 2

Place the frozen berries on top — they'll defrost overnight and create a natural sauce.

  3. 3

Seal and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.

  4. 4

In the morning, give everything a good stir. Add a splash more milk if you prefer a looser consistency.

  5. 5

Top with mixed seeds before serving.

Why this works for PCOS/PMOS

Low-glycaemic foods release glucose slowly, preventing the blood sugar spikes that drive insulin resistance — the core metabolic issue in PCOS/PMOS.
